What makes Beamex unique is that you really matter and have a brilliant opportunity to develop yourself in ways you didn’t think was possible.
It all started when I did a week of “TET/PRAO” at Beamex in the winter of 2016. Everyone in the 9th grade was required to do this and usually people don’t take it so seriously. But I felt like this is my opportunity to show my motivation towards working in the IT business. I really liked it, so when I was older, I was able to get a trainee spot in 2019 and I have been here every summer since. This is my third and final year studying IT at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK).
I’ve worked in different departments, and this will be the second summer I use my IT skills to work on projects for Beamex. Beamex has a great learning environment and my skills have greatly improved. I work on IT projects for the production team so my work varies from time to time. The best thing with my job is that this line of work has a lot of problem solving and logical thinking in it, like a lot of engineers have. It challenges the mind a lot and gives positive vibes when a complicated issue is solved.
What makes Beamex unique is that you really matter and have a brilliant opportunity to develop yourself in ways you didn’t think was possible. Beamex has given me much more confidence in myself and an awesome opportunity to develop my skills and work at the same time. If you want to be in a working environment where you feel part of something bigger and develop your skills, then this is the place for you. It doesn’t hurt that the food is really good as well. I was unsure about my future before, but Beamex showed me a better way. Maybe it will do the same to you.
