“I was never supposed to move back to my hometown, but here I am. After I graduated in 2012, I had a hard time finding a job that corresponded with my education. After some time, Beamex had a job opening, I applied, moved back to Pietarsaari. I found out that I really liked it here, both in Pietarsaari and in Beamex, and have now been working at Beamex for eight years.

I’m currently working as a Team Leader for the Expert Services Team and my tasks vary from Key Account Management, Project Lead work, customer meetings, and daily support for our customers. I mostly work with our Strategic Accounts with different projects and provide support when our calibration solutions are taken into use at sites all over the world. It is our job to help those sites to get the most out of their calibration data together with our software and hardware solutions.

Due to my work tasks, I travel 60-85 days a year, all over the world. Many of our larger customers have sites globally where they deploy our Beamex solutions, and we are there to help them. I have visited companies everywhere, from the busy city of Shanghai to the beautiful nature of Puerto Rico, which to this day is still my most memorable visit.

The best thing about my job is having great colleagues, the possibility to meet people all over the world through different projects, customer visits, and helping them take our solutions into use. No day is the same at the office, there is always something new that comes up.”
