Beamex Group leadership team will deliver even greater value to customers with the appointment of two new experienced professionals in sales and operations
Beamex is delighted to welcome two vastly experienced industry professionals to the Beamex Group leadership team Mika Niemi stepped into the role of Operations Director towards the end of 2024, while Antti Koivisto took up his new role as Senior Vice President of Sales at the start of March 2025.
These significant appointments reinforce Beamex commitment to delivering even greater value for customers and to an unwavering pursuit of operational excellence and customer-centric growth.
The opportunity to take up these new positions and join the leadership team arose after the previous incumbents indicated their desire to seek new challenges within the company. Former Operations Director Jukka Syrjä relocated to the USA to assume a leadership position within the Beamex USA organization, while Alex Maxfield, who has led Beamex Group Sales for the past ten years, assumed the role of Head of Direct Sales. In line with Beamex’s values, the company successfully aligned Jukka and Alex’s aspirations with positions that benefit both Beamex as a business and them as ambitious professionals.
Antti is a sales and business executive with 20 years of experience in strategic key account management, strategic international business leadership, and customer value management. As SVP of Sales he has a key role within the leadership team executing the company’s strategy and overseeing all sales activities within the Beamex Group. Antti will also head up Beamex global sales activities, driving revenue growth through direct and indirect sales channels. Two of his main focus areas will be enhancing the Beamex sales strategy and improving customer engagement.
As Operations Director Mika is responsible for all operations within Beamex. He will focus on streamlining Beamex operations for greater efficiency and optimizing the company’s manufacturing processes and calibration services, supporting revenue growth on a global scale. Mika’s remit also covers sourcing and logistics, where his goal is to enhance efficiency and provide customers with faster and more reliable service. Mika has extensive experience in operations, sales, and R&D, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
